The Descent
Going down, and telling the truth about the wound.
You start by admitting you can't stay where you are. Then you turn and look at what you've been walking around for years. The wound, the mask you built to survive it, the parts of yourself you threw in the pit because they were too much or not allowed. You learn the language your dreams have been speaking. And you let yourself grieve what the unhealed years actually cost.
It's the hardest stretch. It's also where everything else becomes possible.
